about that wool....

just a couple of projects finally finished...
above is some knitting that needed extending...
so I crocheted a border...
still small...but that's all there is...
getting a bit tired of all the red....
found these bits...some knitted...
so dug out some pale tone wool...
and edged them all with crochet and put them together...
I found a moccasin pattern...
for little feet...
not really happy with them so will have to have another go...
they're back in the "think about it" pile...

apologies for the photo quality...
it's the camera's fault...
it can't fix the shaky hand or old eyes..

  1. red makes it a bit warmer. you must be thinking about spring now the pastel colours are coming out, they will keep someone warm whatever colour they are. well put together. the moccasins look very snuggly.
& what are those folded bits in the fancy container?

  2. folded bits are hexagon pieces waiting to be pieced into the right place...container is an old biscuit tin which has been covered in fabric...and lined...with a patchwork lid...found at an op shop many years ago...now holds my sewing and patchwork bits...

  4. Ah, that blanket looks like a canvas painting come to life in a blanket. Eek! You've got me wanting to crochet. I'm going to buy yarn tomorrow. I love to knit or crochet in the Fall and winter months. Beautiful Raylee!
