"Flights of Fancy" journal page

nearing the end of my journal pages in the "flights of fancy" altered book journal.

this journal has something on every page & i can go back & add to it now.

for this page i used some torn  wrapping paper in a grid pattern, added a print of an angel child , some water soluble crayon, pitt pens & the "ho ho ho" from cigarette paper packets.

even though i made lots more presents this time & just made the Christmas eve deadline i still needed that creative fix when all the celebrations died down. these pages are just the thing, i find this form of art very calming & gives me time to clear my head to get ready for the next project,........
i have a new "altered book" to start the new year, my intention is to do a page everyday. make it more personal & honest .
 i hope to be more disciplined regarding my art this year.
what new things are you going to try? or what old things can you improve or expand on?
