I knitted this table runner from kitchen string on large needles. The table was made from old casement windows from a Queenslander. Nuts from a Boab tree.
That is beautiful! We have a new table, it wasn't made of recycled timber but it is secondhand - so recycled in its own right. I'm going to have to google a 'Boab tree', those nuts look insane
