Today i have been a nana for 18 years!! happy birthday first grandson!!!

Red shoes bag

Views of the two sides of the bag, & two different handle lenghts, for the hand or over the shoulder. the bag is made from hand block printed calico, denim & corduroy for the shoes, & a pocket on the back from a pair of jeans. it is over stitched with a running stitch & is lined to make it neater & stronger. i have also hand painted a poem by henry lawson , over the printed design ,just because the recipient of this bag is a doodler, often writing random thoughts & snippets of conversations on bits of paper, so i thought it was appropriate for her. the name of the poem is "bill". Spotty pyjama surprise

Went out to collect the newspaper yesterday morning in my spotty pyjamas, hoping no-one would see me. i quickly picked it up & as i turned to hurry inside, i looked up the street & there was another woman doing the same as me...... in her spotty pyjamas... i sometimes wonder do other people do the same things that i do..... i guess sometimes they do! First doll

Just had to show this young childs first try at doll making...... something she will treasure in years to come!(raylee).

A brooch made from an old earing & necklace chain. there have been a few hiccups last couple of days , hopefuly all is back in order now , thanks to someone more computer literate than i. (raylee).

These were my favourite boardshorts from years ago, they were given to me second hand, i liked them so much i couldnt part with them ......i still have the remainder all faded & almost worn bare.(raylee).
