Alphabet Jewellery Hanger
here's an idea for the girls.........glue the letters onto the board, i used pva glue.
when it was dry i gave it two coats of white gloss spray paint.

the little knobs are just the thing for hanging jewellery.
you could put a hanger on the back & hang it on the wall.

Vertical Herb Garden
thought i would show you my new vertical herb garden,( no more bending down!!)........constructed by a very thoughtful husband!
he used all recycled materials, with the exception of the pots & the plants,........the mesh was leftover from a concreting job.
i have not even had to water much due to all the rain we have had......i just pick them & add to whatever is on the menu for the day.

some good old marigolds add a burst of colour.
do you like gardens/gardening ?.......have a look at katies blog,........katie has been asking "how does your garden grow?"

Story of the stool
I found this thing that Raylee encouraged me to try a few years ago...
it was ripped up material...torn into strips...and knitted into squares...
but it wasnt big enough for anything so I pulled it apart...
and crocheted a circular thing...
but again it wasnt big enough...
so I moved on to the next project...
of removing the dirty denim from this old cable drum...
that had been covered with leftover christmas paper...
and then denim and used as a stool for many years...
then I realised the crochet circle would probably fit nicely as a cover..
so I played around a bit and found it was just right...
it was a struggle to get the last bit of crochet done...
as I had to work it when it was on the stool...
its now done...
the raggy top and bottom give it a bit of padding...
and the metal bolts that hold it together...
now wont scratch the floor when its dragged around...

Dangly bits
hello again...
hope you all have had a happy Easter time...
we have all been busy working...
though not as much crafty as we like...
in recent times the little girls have been busy...
threading and bending pipecleaners...
as we have a new baby around...
we thought we'd put all our dangly bits together...
and make a mobile...
I found some sticks in the garden...
and threaded things onto them and tied them up with ribbon...
the fish hiding in the background is not impressed...
he's not included this time...
I have other ideas for him later...
