Decorating in the Kitchen

sometimes you find the best surprises at the tip shop!!......these plates! 17 altogether & brand new! posing on the kitchen bench with a hanger in the background, made last year from old  fence  palings, embroidered doilies & really old biscuit cutters from the second hand markets......there are hooks on the bottom of the  hanger for tea towels or pot holders.

.....& the bread board painting....... i stuck two pieces of hessian webbing down the sides, just to see how it would look.

these two pieces seem to have been made for each other.........unintentionally.

....really blooming well now that they are changing colour in this lovely wet autumn weather!!
