Surface Treatments.....365 Creative Challenge 2013

if you look closely at the first picture you will see that i have cut strips from  the next two pages which are made up from cut & torn magazine pictures & text that have been glued onto the page. then i roughly painted some acrylic over them. when the paint was dry i smeared some vaseline/petroleum jelly on some areas of the pages, as a resist. then added some more paint & cleaned off the vaseline which left some of the original picture showing. i drew some leaf shapes with a green  pitt pen & added the image of the girl & the flower.

  

some of the bits & pieces of plastic packaging & a lid, bubble wrap, & wire mesh, paper, a used sanding disc & paints i have been using to stamp & stencil with.

this page is watercolours over acrylic & pen, &  when dry stamped with a plastic lid & acrylic paint.

 as you may have noticed i don't number my creative pages........i have lost count. every time i think i have it worked out....... i don't, so have to re count the days of each month & hope it all corresponds in the end. not long until i get to the half way mark!

i have been trying some of the surface treatments from this book......."Surface Treatment Workshop", by Darlene Olivia McElroy & Sandra Duran Wilson.
