Santa's On His Way
starting to look like Christmas around here.......the kids have been doing most of the decorating this year.
in the cool quiet of the morning i decorated some large coffee jars with old Christmas cards & ribbons to use as flower vases (hope someone brings me flowers for Christmas Eve.)
we have a Christmas Eve dinner with family & friends. usually it's roast pork belly, potato salad (my late father-in law's Austrian recipe), & seasonal vegetables.
desert varies from good old Aussie trifle, pavlova, ice cream, the traditional pudding with custard to cheesecake.
we have made our own tradition of letting the kids choose one present to open after dinner.
what's on your menu? do you do the traditional lunch or dinner?, or do you go for something more simple?
